1 · Choose your grade
The grade is set by the adhesive bond — how much water the panel will face in transit and storage. See BWP vs BWR explained for the full detail.

2 · Choose your face

3 · Common thicknesses & sizes
Thicknesses: 4, 6, 9, 12, 16, 19 and 25 mm (other thicknesses on request).
Sheet sizes: 8'×4' standard; custom sizes (e.g. 10'×5') made to order.
4 · ISPM-15, in one line
Plywood is generally exempt from ISPM-15 (manufacturing eliminates pests). The solid-wood framing and runners are treated and stamped. We supply finished cases and crates already ISPM-15 compliant for any country that enforces it. See ISPM-15 for plywood packaging.

5 · Choose your core
The face is what you see; the core is what carries the load. It decides weight, screw-holding at the corner cleat, and whether the panel survives a point load from a forklift tine.

| Rubberwood | Plantation hardwood, consistent density, good screw-holding | The standard packing core. Holds nails and staples at the cleat without splitting. |
| Eucalyptus | Dense hardwood, high stiffness | Heavier cargo and base panels that take point loads. |
| Softwood / light cores | Low density | Not used in this range. A softer core crushes under point loads and gives up at the fastener. |
6 · Work the load back from weight, not volume
Packing plywood is dense. On almost every lane a container reaches its payload limit before it fills — so the sheet count is set by kilograms, not cubic metres. Two things follow from that:
- Thicker is not simply better. Going up a thickness on the walls can cost you sheets on the same container. Specify thickness where the load needs it — base and bearers — and lighter elsewhere.
- An Okoume face buys payload. A lighter face on the same core means more sheets under the same weight cap, which is why export buyers specify it on long lanes.
- Destination road limits can be lower than the container rating. The binding constraint is whichever is smallest: the container CSC plate, the shipping line, or the road limit at the far end.

7 · What to send for a same-day quote
Four details and a written quote follows the same day. Anything missing and we come back asking, which costs you a day.
- Thickness and sheet size — or the case dimensions and we will work the panel sizes back.
- Monthly quantity — a one-off lot and a standing monthly requirement are quoted differently.
- Delivery location — truckload within India, or the port for export.
- Grade and face — from steps 1 and 2 above, or tell us the cargo and we will specify it.
Terms are 50% advance with the balance before dispatch. Every grade ships with a technical data sheet and a material guarantee against the specification quoted.
