Compare the legal name and identifier returned by the official service with your quotation and invoice. Some portals need a security check or sign-in. Registration establishes the seller’s identity; it does not certify the grade, stock or performance of an individual shipment.
“Merchant exporter” on our RCMC
The FIEO certificate registers Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited as a merchant exporter; that term is printed on the certificate.
We are the manufacturer. Your order is made in our factories in Perumbavoor, Kerala; the factory is named on the quotation, and you are welcome to visit it or send your own inspector. Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited is the company that invoices and exports. Our group began working timber in Perumbavoor in 1986.
Certificates and test reports
Each of our factories holds its own BIS licence where one applies, so there is no single CM/L number that covers everything we make. Any certificate or test report that applies to your order is identified on the quotation by holder, number and product scope, and released to verified buyers on request. No compliance claim applies to your order until those documents are in your hands. If your market needs a specific certification — CARB or TSCA Title VI for the United States, FSC chain of custody, a CE Declaration of Performance — name it at enquiry. We quote it only where our factory for your order holds it, and the quotation names the certificate — it cannot be added after the panels are pressed.
For a BIS-marked order, use BIS Care — Verify Licence Details with the CM/L number supplied on your quote. Check the licence status, holder, manufacturing location and scope for the exact product and grade. A company registration or an unconnected certificate is not a substitute.
Verify the order, as well as the seller
Use your quotation reference to keep the specification, inspection and dispatch records together. Agree any inspection, photograph or document requirements before confirming the order.

Tell the desk which evidence your purchasing team needs in the enquiry form.
What we send before you commit
Ask the export desk to arrange the relevant documents before you commit: the amended GST certificate, the RCMC, a proforma invoice on our letterhead, and the bank details on company letterhead so you can confirm the account name matches the invoicing entity.
We do not transact on open account, and we will never ask you to pay into an account in a name other than Cochin Wood Industries Private Limited.
